This should really be understood as the most random photograph you have ever snapped and is available online. I have rafts of pictures of nothing-in-particular from my childhood, but going through and scanning/organizing/labeling all those is a chore that still awaits me. In a really nebulous future.
This is more random in a "likely to cause a 'what-the-hell' reaction in casual observers" way than in an "why did I take this?" way. This picture was taken very purposefully, for an elaborate gag gift book called "The Christmas Fish."
In looking at the photos I do have (rather a huge number of them), few of them are purposeless. In this age of digital photography and selective posting, the amusing mistakes usually don't make it online. Why upload a picture of half the Lincoln Memorial and half a gigantic, blurry finger you had in front of the lens?
So, yes, playing with meanings of "random" here. Sorry, Snuggle!
